The Crow and Gate is a bit of a drive (approx 50 minutes) but the closest thing that you will ever find on this side of the Atlantic for an authentic old English Pub. Everything about this place screams English and they do it very tastefully. The menu is filled with traditional English Pub fare; bangers & mash, steak pies, ploughman’s plate, pan fried oysters and the like. They offer a healthy selection of foreign and local beers on tap.
